I think going to movie-screens is not going to be a passé, that is our firm belief but even in the last few years it has been proven beyond doubt that only if there is a content that is enticing do the patrons come into the cinema. That risk is not going to go away either, she said.
We do not see OTT as a big risk for PVR but content risk is there and has always been there, she added.
With respect to movie watching per se, I think that we have gone through several disruptions. Time and again it has been proven that if there is a great content, there is a lot of value to watching it on the day of the release or soon thereafter and in an environment which creates an inimitable experience for the patrons, said Ramnath.
