SEATTLE, Feb. 27, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- ClearSign Combustion Corporation (Nasdaq: CLIR) ("ClearSign" or the "Company"), an emerging leader in industrial combustion technologies that reduce emissions and improve efficiency, today announced the closing of its previously announced underwritten public offering of 5,000,000 shares of common stock at a price of $2.25 per share. In addition, the underwriter exercised the over-allotment option to purchase 750,000 additional shares of common stock at the public offering price. All of the common stock was offered by the Company.
National Securities Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of National Holdings Corporation (NasdaqCM:NHLD), acted as sole book running manager for the offering.
The gross proceeds from the offering, including the exercise of the over-allotment option, were approximately $12.94 million, excluding underwriting discounts and commissions and other offering-related expenses.
ClearSign intends to use the net proceeds from the offering primarily for sales and marketing, business development, research and development, working capital and general corporate purposes.
