K’pada GRS held taking bribe
Vigilance sleuths on Monday caught Kendrapada Kapileswar Gram Rojagar Sathi (GRS) Upendra Behera red-handed while taking bribe of Rs6,000 from Nilakantha Swain of Samalpur village under Sadar PS for processing final bills of Rs30,000 and Rs12,000 relating to construction of house and latrine, respectively, under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) Scheme.
The sleuths laid a trap and caught Behera red-handed while demanding and accepting Rs6,000 from the complainant in the computer section of Kendrapara block. Further investigation is on, said an official release.
