The Delhi Crafts Council (DCC) was celebrating its golden jubilee year with an exhibition which explored the intersection of modern designs and traditional hand skills in the specific context of designing for living spaces.
Titled Crafting Design, the exhibition featured furniture, installations, lighting fixtures and floor coverings in innovative designs.
The objective of this creative collaboration was to energise and provide new directions to artisans in order to take their work to a much wider platform and to help bring it into the realm of mainstream design.
