The Xavier School of Commerce, Xavier University, Bhubaneswar, held its second national conference on accounting and finance on Thursday.
The theme for the conference was “Commerce in Digitised India”. Spread across four sessions, the conference saw wide participation from students as well as professors of the institute.
The speakers for the day were founding member of Kotak Life DP Harichandran, Chartered Accountant and Professor of Accounting and Finance at University of Kalyani, West Bengal Sunil Gandhi, University of Calcutta Business Management Prof Sharmistha Banarjee, IIFT Kolkata Prof Hanif Mohammed and Utkal University Dean and Chairman of Board of Studies in Commerce and Head of PG Department in Utkal University Ranjan Kuamar Bal.
Gautam Roy was the guest of honour. The conference concluded with a round of paper presentations, evaluated by the faculty of Xavier University.
