The King of Jordan Abdullah-II bin Al-Hussein is reaching New Delhi tonight on a three-day visit. The King will be accompanied by a business delegation.
During the visit, India and Jordan will discuss the entire gamut of bilateral relations as well as regional and international issues of mutual interest. The King will visit IIT Delhi tomorrow to explore collaboration with Jordan technical institutes. During the day, he will also participate in a CEO Round-table followed by India-Jordan Business Forum. On 1st of next month, the visiting dignitary will hold talks with Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Hyderabad House.
After the talks, the two sides are expected to sign MoUs and Agreements in diverse areas of bilateral cooperation. The King will meet President Ram Nath Kovind on the same day. Vice-President Venkaiah Naidu and External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj will call on the visiting dignitary. During his stay, the King will also deliver a special address on 'Promoting Understanding and Moderation', organised by India Islamic Center.
