What to Watch - HDFC opens QIP; fixes floor price at ₹1,824.63

 

Housing Development Finance Corporation on Tuesday announced the opening of the QIP issue. HDFC has fixed the floor price at ₹1,824.63.

According to reports, it plans to raise about ₹1,900 crore, as part of its ₹13,000-crore plan, to invest in its banking/other subsidiaries.

HDFC had raised ₹11,000 crore (via preferential and warrant issues) from KKR, Singapore’s GIC and Azim Premji’s PremjiInvest. Its board had approved raising another ₹1,896 crore via QIP.
