Passport Kendra opens in B’pur
The much-awaited Brahmapur Post Office Passport Seva Kendra (POPSK) was inaugurated by Brahmapur MP Sidhant Mohapatra here on Monday. On the day, documents of 10 persons who had applied for passport online were verified.
A public meeting was also organised on the occasion at which the guests said that now, the southern Odisha people would not have to go Bhubaneswar for their passport verification.
Among others, local MLA Ramesh Chandra Chaupatnaik, Gopalpur MLA Pradeep Panigrahy, BMC Deputy Mayor Jyotsna Nayak, BDA Chairman Subash Moharana, Odisha Chief Postmaster General Dr Santosh Kumar Kamila were present.
