Dubai cops on Monday recorded the statement of his husband Boney Kapoor and hotel authorities where she was staying in Dubai.
As per the reports, the actress was found lying in restaurant bathtub full of water after losing consciousness. Boney Kapoor immediately took her to the nearby hospital where the doctors declared her dead.
Sridevi had gone to Dubai to attend his nephew’s wedding along with Boney Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor. She stayed back in Dubai while his hubby and daughter went back to Mumbai. Boney Kapoor decided to surprise her but he found Sridevi dead.
Dubai Cops are currently probing Boney Kapoor and taking his statements. Mohit Marwah’s family was also interrogated. Also, the cops are investigating Sridevi’s call records.
Forensic report reveals, Sridevi died due to accidental drowning in Bathtub!
The Dubai government wrote on Twitter the cops had moved the matter to the “Dubai Public Prosecution”.
