US President Donald Trump has said, the United States will talk with North Korea only under the right conditions. Addressing U.S. state Governors at the White House yesterday, Mr Trump said, the administration will see what happens before it determines whether Pyongyang really intends to abandon its nuclear and missile development programs.
He said something has to be done to eliminate the threat to the United States and its allies from North Korea’s weapons of mass destruction. His comments came after a high-level North Korean delegation to South Korea said in a meeting with President Moon Jae-in that the North is ready to talk with the United States.
Last week, the US government announced that it is imposing the largest ever set of sanctions against Pyongyang.
