The Jaguar I-Pace electric crossover will make its official debut during a live-streamed event this Thursday.

The I-Pace is the first-ever pure EV from Jaguar and will serve as a direct rival to the Tesla Model X. The newest member of Jag’s ‘Pace’ family of crossovers and SUVs, the I-Pace is described as the “the EV that drivers have been waiting for, delivering sustainable sports car all-wheel drive agility and five-seat SUV practicality.”

Jaguar has also confirmed the I-Pace will be able to charge from a flat battery to 80% charge in 45 minutes using a 100 kWh DC charger. It has yet to announce other I-Pace stats, but rumors point to the EV having a maximum range of 310 miles. It will receive power from two 197 hp electric motors, which will give it an output of 395 hp and 516 lb-ft, enabling a 0-60 mph time of 4.0s.  Feeding the motors will be a 90 kWh liquid-cooled battery pack.
