Watch: Stok Guru Tsechu festival concludes in Leh

The two day annual festival of Stok popularly known as Stok Guru Tsechu concluded in Leh on Sunday. The Stok Guru Tsechu Festival is being held in the first month of the Tibetan lunar calendar, the holy prayer month. It is celebrated in accordance with Guru Rinpoche's (Padmasambhava) birthday, which falls on the 9th and 10th day of the first Tibetan month. On the occasion, monks performed a mask dance, which symbolised different god and goddesses. The main attraction of the festival was the two oracles. After meditating for two months, these oracles come in complete trance and performed rituals in the court yard to handle unpleasant and disaster in future.
