Radical change in cinema: SRK

Actor Shah RUKH KHAN spoke about the radical change in cinema. The actor said that the spreading of ideas is a way of story telling. “Genuinely, story-telling has anchored communication between human beings. Even entertainment is actually a derivative of story-telling. Whether you music, art or poetry all of these things are a form of story-telling.” The modern art of story telling is of course filmmaking, he said. “I think there has been radical change in cinema and content over the years. A change even in the way we consume films. But right now I think we are witnessing the greatest change. The greatest change of this century has been the evolutionary revolution that has taken over the human kind, he added.”

Actress Sonakshi Sinha will be seen walking the ramp for fashion designer Shaina NC at the 13th edition of Caring with Style fashion showcase. The actress says she is looking forward to it. “I am looking forward to walk for Shaina NC. I am feeling honoured to participate in such as wonderful initiative that works to bring smiles on the faces of the Cancer patients. A big thumbs up to Cancer Patients Aid Association and Fevicol  for the fatal disease."

A Wrinkle In Time hails diversity

Actress Reese Witherspoon has praised A Wrinkle In Time director Ava DuVernay for representing different kinds of women within her movie.

The 41-year-old actor stars as Mrs Whatsit in the upcoming Disney movie based on the 1962 novel of the same name by Madeleine L'Engle.

She says that the production will be important for young people everywhere as the diverse cast — which includes the likes of Oprah Winfrey and Mindy Kaling – means everyone is equally represented.

When asked how important she thinks the movie will be, Witherspoon said: "I read the book as a little girl, and I really was excited when Ava explained her vision for the film."

"She was like 'I'm gonna deviate a lot. I want to have the house in Downtown L.A.”
