A Darbhanga court today convicted 10 people for the murder of two engineers in Bihar's Darbhanga district in 2015. Additional District and Sessions Judge V Rupesh Dev acquitted four others for want of evidence. The quantum of punishment would be pronounced on March 7. The two engineers, Mukesh Kumar and Brajesh Kumar, of a private firm engaged in road construction were shot dead at Shivram Chowk on December 26, 2015, for not meeting ransom demand of miscreants. There were two more accused in the case.
One of them died during trial and the other, a minor, is being tried in a juvenile court.
