Maa Durga annual function held in Paradip
Maa Durga’s 9th annual function was held at the Paradip Port Banik Sangha (PPBS) premises at Badapadia here on Saturday. Various spiritual activities like Pravat Pooja, Sodasopachara Pooja were organised on the occasion.
Noted spiritual speaker of “Sadhubani” from the Prarthna channel, Jitu Das’ visit to the function attracted mass gathering. The function was sponsored by the Paradip Port Banik Sangha led by its president Santosh Kumar Pattnaik. Jitu Das was welcomed in a grand rally from Dochakki to the Badapadia PPBS office. Hundreds of men and women attended the programme especially to listen to the spiritual thoughts, stories, Indian ancient Puranas from the voice of Jitu Das. As part of the programme, from February 25 to 27 women Pala groups would present their performances.
The function was coordinated by PPBS secretary Niranjan Mohanty, assistant secretary Debabrata Sahoo, Pramod Mohapatra, Chandra Sekhar Mohapatra, Prabodh Das, Jeevan Mohanty, Ayashkant Samal and Anadi Parida.
