Market Now: IT stocks mixed; TCS, Infosys down 1%
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty50 index, 37 were trading in the green, while 13 were in the red.
NEW DELHI: IT stocks Oracle Financial Services Software (down 1.61 per cent), Tata Consultancy Services (down 1.11 per cent), Infosys (down 1 per cent), Tech Mahindra (down 0.81 per cent) and Wipro (down 0.41 per cent) were trading down during Monday's trade.

The Nifty IT index was trading 0.58 per cent down at 12,796 around 10:40 am (IST).

However, shares of Tata Elxsi (up 2.97 per cent), Mindtree (up 0.94 per cent), HCL Technologies (up 0.59 per cent), Infibeam Incorporation (up 0.31 per cent) and KPIT Technologies (up 0.29 per cent) were in the green around that time.

Equity markets were bullish on sustained buying in key frontline counters led by metal, auto, capital goods and banking stocks.

The NSE Nifty50 index was up 82 points at 10,573, whiel the BSE Sensex was 280 points up at 34,422.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty50 index, 37 were trading in the green, while 13 were in the red.

Tata Motors, IndusInd Bank, Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone, Larsen & Toubro and Bharat Petroleum Corporation were among the top gainers in the Nifty50 index, while Dr. Reddy's Laboratories, Sun Pharmaceutical Industries, Tata Consultancy Services, Infosys and NTPC were among the top losers.
