Monday, 26 February 2018 () Nokia 8110, also known as the banana phone is making a comeback after 20 years, and it’s everything that you would imagine for a remake. If you don’t remember the Nokia 8110, it means that you’re way too young and most likely this phone isn't meant for you. The original version launched in a way that you don’t get to experience anymore, with the help of a movie. That’s right, the Nokia 8110 is the famous banana phone from the Matrix. Back then, seeing a curved phone and a sliding protective cover for the keyboard was something unique. Since the Matrix was a pretty big deal, the demand for this phone exploded after the film’s release, and it was enough to keep the concept alive within an entire generation.
