All India Mahila Empowerment Party (AIMEP) will field its candidates in all 224 constituencies in the assembly elections, said Nowhera Shaik, national president of AIMEP. At a public meeting in
Mandya on Saturday, Nowhera said her party has not formed any poll alliance. “Some rumour mongers have been spreading stories of a poll alliance with the
BJP. This is utterly false. We are touring are getting a good response,” she said. Nowhera said the
AIMEP will work for the betterment of masses and strive hard to strengthen social harmony, secularism and communal tolerance.
Nowhera said party worker Geeta would contest as AIMEP candidate from Mandya.
