Spurs stop four-game slide with win over Cavs
LaMarcus Aldridge scored 27 points and dominated the attack in the paint and was perfectly complemented by Danny Green, who scored 22 points that included five three-pointers, as the San Antonio Spurs ended their four-game losing streak with a win against Cleveland Cavaliers.
Spurs won the game 110-94, despite Cavs’ LeBron James flirting with a triple double with 33 points, 13 rebounds and nine assists.

Atletico stay on Barca’s heels after 5-2 rout of Sevilla
With a game against Barcelona at the Camp Nou lined up for the weekend following the midweek La Liga fixtures, Atletico Madrid made their intentions abundantly clear with a 5-2 victory away at Sevilla.
Antoine Griezmann scored his first hat-trick of this season, Diego Costa scored the opener and Koke also got his name on the score sheet as Atletico remained within seven points of leaders Barcelona.
Neymar injured in PSG’s 3-0 win over Marseille
Goals from Kylian Mbappe and Edinson Cavani, along with an own goal by Rolando, gave Paris Saint-Germain a 3-0 victory over bitter rivals Marseille in Ligue 1.
Neymar’s injury, which saw him leave the field on a stretcher late in the game, however, overshadowed PSG’s win.
In Serie A, AC Milan showed that they are still a force to be reckoned with as they won 2-0 away at AS Roma. The game between Juventus and Atalanta, meanwhile, was called off after heavy snowfall.
