The budget session of Madhya Pradesh assembly started today with the address of Governor Anandiben Patel. The Governor said, the state government is working on the concept of Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas.
She also said, the government had made Narmada conservation a public campaign adding that innovations are taking place to make the Narmada water reach distant areas.
Ms Patel also said, the major work for the betterment of network of roads is taking place. During the speech, the Opposition members raised the issue of farmers.
AIR correspondent reports that the the State Budget for 2018-19 will be presented on Wednesday by Finance Minister Jayant Malaiya. The session, which will have 18 sittings, will conclude on the 28th of next month.
