Simbu doesn’t play an engineer in CCV

The team of Mani Ratnam’s Chekka Chivantha Vaanam is all set to begin shooting the film’s second schedule today.The first schedule took place on ECR, apart from some portions which were shot at Apollo Hospitals, Vanagaram.

A source close to Simbu reveals that the actor is training to lose more weight for his role. “He wants to try and go back to how fit he was during his Poda Podi days. He’s on a rigorous fitness plan.” The source also clarifies, “Simbu doesn’t play an engineer in the film, and any reports to that extent are untrue.”
Produced by Madras Talkies, the film has an ensemble cast, including Vijay Sethupathi, Jyotika, Arvind Swami, Arun Vijay and Aishwarya Rajesh.
