A screen grab from the teaser of Ajith's Vedalam

RT Neason, who directed Vijay in Jilla, is likely to remake Ajith-starrer Vedalam in Telugu. According to sources, Pawan Kalyan will play the lead.

Interestingly, one of his recent films, Katamarayudu, was also the official remake of another Ajith project, Veeram. Though Neason hasn’t officially announced this, he has admitted to being in talks with Pawan on many occasions. The cast and crew details are yet to be finalised.
Pawan’s last release, Agnyaathavaasi, directed by Trivikram Srinivas, had Anirudh Ravichander making his Telugu debut as composer.
