The untimely death of veteran actor Sridevi has shocked everyone across the Indian film fraternity. The 54-year-old actor was in Dubai to attend her nephew Mohit Marwah's wedding when she suffered a massive cardiac arrest on Saturday (24 February) night.
And while many are calling Mom her last Bollywood venture, Sridevi will be seen one last time on the big screen.
Sridevi, who is known to be a versatile actor, will be seen in a cameo in Aanand L Rai's Zero. Sridevi had shot for a special song along with Shah Rukh Khan in October last year. While Mom will be her last full-fledged role, Sridevi fans will still be able to see their favorite star on the big screen in Shah Rukh Khan's Zero.
Sridevi will play herself in the film and will share screen space with Alia Bhatt, Karisma Kapoor and Shah Rukh Khan. The scene is said to be a party sequence, and a photograph from the sets was shared by Karisma Kapoor back in October.
After a hiatus of 15 years, Sridevi made a comeback in 2012 with Gauri Shinde’s English Vinglish. In 2017, she starred in Mom, a movie praised by both the audiences and the critics. In Tamil, her last film was the Vijay-starrer Puli.
Zero, starring Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma, will hit the screens on 21 December.
