Shabana Azmi, who was among the first few celebrities to arrive at Anil Kapoor's residence to offer her condolences, has cancelled her annual Holi celebrations. Taking to Twitter, Shabana issued a statement that she has cancelled the Holi party in the wake of her friend's passing. The note read, “Our Holi party at Janki Kurir stands cancelled on 2nd March in the wake of Sridevi's passing.”

Pakistani stars like Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Mahira Khan and Ali Zafar have condoled the sudden demise of veteran actress Sridevi, said that she will live in their hearts and memories forever.

Forensic doctors in Dubai have concluded that Sridevi died of a heart attack. They have found nothing suspicious about her death, according to official sources in Dubai.

“It was heart-wrenching. This is not the age,” was Amol Palekar’s reaction when he heard the news of Sridevi’s sudden demise on Sunday.

Palekar was Sridevi’s co-star in her Hindi debut film, ‘Solva Sawan’ (1979). “It was an absolutely fascinating experience,” Palekar told TOI, reminiscing about shooting that film. “We forged a good friendship. She was extremely young, and I still remember how shy and guarded she was, as she was not very comfortable speaking English,” he recalled.

According to reports doing the rounds, Sridevi was allegedly readying herself for surprise dinner date with her husband Boney Kapoor, before she suffered a cardiac arrest in the bathroom of her hotel room.

Namely, Chiranjeevi, Nagarjuna, and Venkatesh are likely to be representing the Tollywood. Bharathiraaja, K Raghavendra Rao, Ambareesh, Prakash Raj and many other personalities from South films are expected to be in Mumbai to be part of her funeral.
