Speaker, Hriday Narayan Dixit adjourned the state assembly to mark respect for the deceased Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA from Bijnore, Lokendra Singh and clubbed it with the festival of Holi, which falls on March 2.
Lokendra Singh was killed on February 20 along with his driver and two security guards when the SUV they were travelling in was involved in a head on collision with a truck coming from an opposite direction at Kakiyapara.
