Win cuts Atletico’s gap back to seven points with leader Barcelona

French striker Antoine Griezmann hit a hat-trick as Atletico Madrid thrashed Sevilla 5-2 on Sunday to cut the gap on La Liga leader Barcelona back to seven points.

The results:

La Liga: Athletic Bilbao 2 (Susaeta 17, Dominguez 44) bt Malaga 1 (En-Nesyri 13); Valencia 2 (Santi Mina 34, 68) bt Real Sociedad 1 (Oiarzabal 54);Sevilla 2 (Sarabia 85, Nolito 89) lost to Atletico Madrid 5 (Costa 29, Griezmann 42, 51-pen, 81, Koke 65).

Serie A: AS Roma 0 lost to AC Milan 2 (Cutrone 48, Calabria 74); Juventus vs Atalanta — postponed due to snow.

Bundesliga: RB Leipzig 1 (Augustin 5) lost to FC Cologne 2 (Koziello 70, Bittencourt 77).
