Dr M A M Ramaswamy Chettiar of Chettinad Charitable Trust represented by Dr A C Muthiah, with total stake money winnings of more than Rs 1.11 crore, emerged as the leading owner. Col S B Nair, with a stake money winnings of more than Rs 56.31 lakh, was the leading individual owner, while the leading joint owners, who won over Rs 56.25 lakh, were Ashok Kumar Gupta, Berjis M Desai and Rakesh Jahunjhunwala. Kaku Associates were the leading bookmakers with a field money of more than Rs 32.27 lakh. Mahateji, with 13 points, was declared the Champion Horse, while Dream Catcher, with the five wins, was the horse of the season.
