Central Power Research Institute, Bhopal organized two days National level conference on LV/HV Switchgear, Controlgear and Smart Technologies, in Noor Us Sabha Hotel.
More than 100 participants from all over the country consisting of SwitchgearManufacturers, Utilities, Academics and Industries participated.
Chief Guest for this conference was I.C.P. Keshari., Principal Secretary, Energy Department , Madhya Pradesh. The Principal Secretary in his inaugural address pointed out significance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ambitious plan of ‘Power for all’ in our country, V Ramesh , Vice President ABB Nashik, ,the guest of honour talked about present status on design,manufacturing and testing issues concerning manufacturing of various Switchgear equipment in our country and abroad.
J. Santhosh, Additional Director, Unit Head, CPRI, Bhiopal, in his welcome speech talked about the relevance of the theme of the conference in regard to operation and control of LV, MV, HV switch gears and smart electrical network. B.M. Mehra, Additional Director explained about the services rendered by CPRI, Bhopal, Head office Bangalore and Noida, Nagpur, Hyderabad, Kolkata and Guwahati units and CPRI’s contribution to testing and research in the electrical power sector.
Total 36 technical papers were presented in this conference. This two days conference resulted in new directions in operating the smart electrical power grid with state of art switch gear equipment.
