Satyarthi wants Nat’l Children’s Tribunal

The Centre for Child and Women Development (CCWD) a State-level seminar on “Civil society, Social Movement, Social Change and Development Discourse in Odisha” here on Sunday.

Chief guest Nobel prize winner Kailash Satyarthi said the present child rights protection mechanism is not adequate to protect the rights of children. He demanded a National Children’s Tribunal which most essential for better safeguarding of children.

Former Information Commissioner Jagadananda, Madhusudan Dash, Rosalin Patsani Misha, Sumedha Kailash attended as guests.

Among others, Election Commission of India Chief Advisor Dr Bhagabanprakash, CCWD secretary Sadasiv Swain and Amiya Bhusan Biswal were present.
