CM rolls out red carpet to futuristic entrepreneurs

Ideal destination for futuristic industries

Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Monday said the State would be developed as a world-class innovation valley by rolling out the red carpet to futuristic entrepreneurs.

Addressing the concluding ceremony of the three-day CII Partnership Summit and the Sunrise A.P. Investment Meet, he said the State had emerged as an ideal investment destination for futuristic industries.

The Chief Minister said they would project “the future is here as the USP of Sunrise A.P.” He said A.P. was also seeing traditional industries undergo transformation and modernisation. Mr. Naidu elaborated his Vision 2050 and the State’s ambitious goal of making Amaravati a model city and among the top five cities in the world. He referred to the automobile-manufacturing hub that was planned in Anantapur, plan for a Korean city in the State, development of a fintech hub in Visakhapatnam and an electronics hardware cluster in Tirupati.

The Chief Minister assured the investors that the State government was committed to providing all clearances within 21 days of submission of any DPR. He highlighted the State’s thrust on becoming a world-class Innovation Valley.

He said the government had identified Visakhapatnam to be developed as a fintech valley for which the response from the stakeholders was phenomenal.
