CM to visit barrage site first

Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao will first visit the Chanaka-Korata barrage site across Penganga river near Korata on Tuesday. He is slated to arrive at the site at 11.40 a.m. and reach Adilabad at 12.10 p.m. after inspecting barrage work. Mr. Rao will meet public representatives of Adilabad district and address a public meeting. He will arrive at Srirampur in Mancherial at 3.05 p.m. and attend various programmes in Singareni Collieries before flying back to Hyderabad at 5.50 p.m. Traffic will be diverted in the town between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. in view of the visit. The road between aerodrome and DIET Ground and between Collector’s bunglow and TTDC guest house will be closed for traffic while buses needing to reach town will need to enter from Chanda Bridge.
