The police have recovered 77 stolen mobile phones after arresting seven members, including five minors, of a gang from places in and around Jamshedpur, the police said today. Of the seven gang members, two are from West Bengal, Senior Superintendent of Police Anoop Birthare said. The arrests were made since yesterday following the capture of one of the gangmembers by a person at Govindpur on the outskirts of Jamshedpur yesterday afternoon. The person chased two members of the gang who picked his mobile phone from his pocket and managed to capture one, Birthare said. He was handed over to the police and following his interrogation, others were arrested from places in and around Jamshedpur, the SSP said. Two of the arrested hailed from Ranigunj and Jamuria area of West Bengal's Paschim Burdwan district.
