Not even Voight's (Jason Beghe) vengeance-seeking former partner Denny Woods (Mykelti Williamson) can distract the head of Intelligence from trying to catch the bad guys on Chicago P.D.

In this exclusive preview of Wednesday's episode, Voight questions a local gangster he suspects of murdering several young men and mutilating their bodies. Though their conversation didn't end with an arrest, the sergeant did walk away with a new enemy to take down.

"I want to bury this son of a b---ch," he declares to Dawson (Jon Seda) in the video. "No, I want to break his soul."

The sensitive mission will require backup from the rest of the team who also have their eyes set on a vigilante going after local rapists. The case hits close to home for Burgess (Marina Squerciati) who took a leave of absence at the end of Season 4 to care for her sister who was sexually assaulted. The investigation is sure to dig up old wounds and she'll begin to question whether or not her sister's assailants truly paid for their actions.

Watch the drama unfold when Chicago P.D. airs Wednesdays at 10/9c on NBC.
