Amla, Tahir drop in latest T20 rankings

Cape Town - Hashim Amla and Imran Tahir have dropped in the latest T20I rankings following India's 2-1 series win against the Proteas this past weekend.

Amla and Tahir were both omitted from the Proteas T20 squad for their three-match T20 series against India.

India went onto clinch the T20 series win by seven runs at Newlands on Saturday.

Amla slipped three places to move out of the Top 10 rankings, while the former No 1 bowler Tahir also dropped down three places to sit at eighth position.

Proteas T20 skipper JP Duminy was the only South African to go up in the latest rankings, moving up four places to 24th.
