Rotary Day held in Brahmapur

The Rotary Club, Brahmapur celebrated the 113th Rotary Day with various programmes here on Saturday.

Noted sand artist Subal Moharana carved a large sand art of 100-foot-length and 20-foot-width size at the Ramlingam Tank for public view on the occasion. The art depicted pictures spreading messages of peace, tree plantation and blood donation.

Besides, a free eye checkup camp was also organised where 20 persons had undergone cataract operation. Besides, as many as 100 trees were planted in the BSET College premises.

A meeting presided over by club president CA Tapas Kumar Panigrahi was graced by local MLA Dr Ramesh Chandra Chyaupatnaik, former Rotary Governor Dr Narayan Mishra and Aarsha Mishra, among others. All club members along with their families attended.
