Launch of Coffee Table Book under ‘Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat Mission’

Punjab Governor and UT Administrator, V.P. Singh Badnore on Saturday launched a Coffee Table Book under the ‘Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat Mission” compiled by the Department of Cultural Affairs, Chandigarh Administration at Punjab Raj Bhawan here.

Senior officers of Chandigarh Administration-- Anurag Agarwal, Home Secretary-cum-Secretary Cultural Affairs, O.P Mishra, DIG, Jitendar Yadav, Director Cultural Affairs, Santosh Kumar, Chief Conservator of Forests, amongst others were present.

The Coffee table book is the compilation of activities and events carried out by UT of Chandigarh in collaboration with UT of Dadra and Nagar Haveli in 2017 under the ‘Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat” mission.

UT of Chandigarh entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with the UT of Dadra & Nagar Haveli for a period of one year for undertaking various activities and events to enhance interaction between people and to promote greater mutual understanding amongst them.

Chandigarh embarked on a mission to enhance the cultural, academic and economic ties by entering into a wide range of mutual engagements with Dadra & Nagar Haveli covering the spheres of music, drama, cuisine, language, history, tourism and other forms of exchange between the people. All these moments have been captured and compiled in this Coffee Table Book.
