Panaji: Chief minister Manohar
Parrikar was admitted to Goa
Medical College and
Hospital late on Sunday night after he complained of dehydration.
“There is nothing to worry. He is responding extremely well,” health minister Vishwajit Rane, who rushed to the
GMC, told TOI.
Sources said Parrikar went to the GMC at around 8pm in his personal vehicle and was taken to ward no. 121 for treatment.
“The chief minister was taking treatment at home for slight dehydration. Doctors at GMC advised to bring him to the hospital. He is under observation,” the chief minister’s office said.
Parrikar, who was undergoing treatment for pancreatitis at Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai, was discharged last Thursday. Soon after his discharge from the hospital, he flew by a special Maharashtra government aircraft to Goa and presented his budget in the state assembly.
