The city police on Friday arrested a 19-year-old employee of a private security firm on the charge of assaulting a youth during the ISL soccer match at the Jawaharlal Nehru International Stadium at Kaloor here on Friday.
The arrested is Prasanth P. Kumar, a native of Peringanad in Pathanamthitta. The incident took place on Friday night when the accused allegedly assaulted a youth who had attempted to shoot the video footage of Sachin Tendulkar using his mobile phone. The incident came to light when the footage of the incident came to public notice on Saturday.
