Constructionworker electrocuted

Tirupur: A 30-year-old man was electrocuted at a construction site in the city on Friday.

The victim, K Rangasamy of Manapparai in Trichy district, had migrated to the dollar city a few years ago, police sources said. “He was staying at Kattabomman Nagar along with his family. He accidentally came in contact with a live wire during work at the construction site. Though he was rushed to the Tirupur Government Hospital, he was declared as brought dead,” a police officer said.


Tirupur north police have registered a case. Further investigation is on. TNN
