On the second day of the cleanliness survey, two single-member teams of the Swachchhata Mission visited several parts of the State capital.
The team of SS Dubey, Chief Commercial Advisor Swachchh Bharat Mission, visited Mata Mandir, Govidpura, Board Office area, 6 no; bus stop, Nutan college area, Bittan Market Biomethanation plant and others. Besides, another team member also visited different parts of the city.
Official sources said that another team remained at the BMC headquarters at Mata Mandir locality and inspected the documentation regarding cleanliness drive.
For the past two days Cleanliness Survey team is the city and observers are visiting different places of the city.
During the visit BMC Commissioner Priynaka Das and CEO Bhopal Smart city Development Chandramauli Shukla accompanied the team member SS Dubey Chief Commercial Advisor Swach Bharat Mission.
At few places, the team conducted visits without informing the officials while the officials attempted to trace the location. The team liked the ‘Kabad se Jugad’ and wall painting concepts in the city.
After obtaining good marks in documentation, the BMC is likely to get better marking during the visit as the innovative ideas have received appreciation from the team.
Cleanliness work across the city was done at war footing level and BMC tried not to let any stone unturned. Mayor Alok Sharma has appealed to all political organization, employee organizations and other organizations to participate in the sanitation drive on Sunday.
In the special sanitation drive from 9 am to 11 am different trader organization, doctors’ organization, goldsmith organizations, Sindhi Panchayat and other organizations participated.
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan would take part in the sanitation drive at Polytechnic Square on Sunday. Besides, several organizations of the city would take part in the sanitation drive, said Mayor Alok Sharma.
