In Jammu & Kashmir, a police guard was injured after unidentified terrorists attacked a police post at the famous revered shrine of Charisharief in Budgam district this afternoon. There is no report of any damage to the Shrine or any other property in the Shrine premises.
Security sources told AIR that that terrorists fired upon sentry post guarding the Alamdar e Kashmir Sheikhul Alam's Ziyarat Sharief. They said the cop suffered injuries and has been hospitalized. Security forces said the area has been cordoned off and a manhunt has been launched to nab the terrorists.
