Leafs pick up Tomas Plekanec in trade with rival Canadiens

The Maple Leafs have acquired Tomas Plekanec and forward Kyle Baun from the Montreal Canadiens in exchange for Toronto's 2018 second-round pick as well as prospects Rinat Valiev and Kerby Rychel, the team announced Sunday.
