The Allahabad High Court has revoked the suspension of all those students of Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur (IIT-K), who were accused of ragging their juniors.
The court has set aside orders of suspension issued by the Institute in the month of October and December last year in this regard .
These students were prima-facie found guilty of charges on August 19 last year at the campus. Justice Manoj Misra in his order has directed the IIT authorities to complete the probe into the allegations and then initiate action against the students.
The court has allowed the students to reside in the campus and appear into the semester examinations. But they will not meet and interact with freshers during their stay.
