Sridevi's stardom was well deserved, says Actor Kamal Haasan

Actor Kamal Haasan reacting to legendary actress Sridevi's sudden death expressed his shock on Sunday morning. Taking to Twitter, the Tamil actor recalled his work with the late actress. 

"Have witnessed Sridevi's life from an adolescent teenager to the magnificeint lady she became. Her stardom was well deserved... Sadma's lullaby haunts me now. We'll miss her," said the actor.

Sridevi and Kamal Hassan have acted in 21 Hindi, Tamil and Telugu films together. Some of these hits include 'Sadma', 'Aakhri Sangram',  'Moonram Pirai, and 'Guru'.

The 54-year-old actress reportedly died of cardiac arrest. She was in Dubai along with her husband Boney Kapoor and her younger daughter Khushi to attend the wedding ceremony of Mohit Marwah. 

Kamal, on February 21, took a political plunge from Rameshwaram and launched his party, "Makkal Needhi Malam."
