CM announces Rs 11K aid to couples
Chief Minister Raghubar Das announced Rs 11,000 aid to the couples tying the knot during the mass marriage ceremony and stressed on the need of changing the orthodox thinking. He also announced Rs 1,000 aid each pair to the organisations organising marriages for live in couples. He said such relations do not get social recognition and live in couples are forced to face several hardships in life.
Therefore, he said such practices should be stopped and Government will also take policy decision for the same.
