3 killed in road accidents in Amethi

Three people were killed and seven injured in separate road accidents in district, police said today. SHO (Munshiganj) VK Mishra said Sabhajit Mishra (40) and (38) were killed when a truck hit their jeep near national highway. The other five passengers were undergoing treatment at a hospital, he said, adding that the fled from the scene after the accident. In another accident, (17), a school student, was killed near Naugawan on same national highway when his bike was hit by a jeep. His companions, Sanjay and Raju, both aged 15 years, were badly injured in the accident.

The fled from the spot, the SHO said.
