For proper and successful operation of women help desk under DG research cell, training and discussion on was held at Ashoka Garden police station on Friday. Baghsewania and Ashoka Garden police stations have been earmarked for woman help desk under DG research cell.
At the training programme, Bhopal IG Jaideep Prasad instructed that the victim women should be provided help at the earliest at the police station.
IG Administration Minakshi Sharma discussed behaviour which is required and should be adopted at the police stations to help victim women. At the training, SOP for providing resolution of issues faced by victim women and sought help at woman help desk was discussed.
On the occasion DIG Dharmendra Choudhary, SP South Rahul Lodha, ASP Zone 2 Vikas Kumar, AIG Administration PHQ Imreen Shah, ASP Woman Cell Shradha Joshi were present.
The staff of Ashoka Garden police station was present and organised the training. The convener of the training was CSP Ayodhya Nagar Rashmi Kharya.
Meanwhile, following instructions on strengthening community policing, spreading awareness about police functioning and curbing of crimes given by DIG Dharmendra Choudhary, CSP Nishatpura Lokesh Kumar Sinha visited Mittal Group of Institute on Friday. Discussions on cyber crime, ATM cloning, ATM frauds, online frauds, crime against woman and innovative steps by Bhopal police WSafety app, We Care for you unit and Matri Mobile were held.
Sinha replied to queries raised by students and staff during the discussion.
These visits would spread awareness about police functioning and help to curb crimes in the society.
