India would be looking to end what has been a largely successful tour of South Africa on a high when they face the hosts in the third and final Twenty20 international at Newlands, Cape Town on Saturday. While India might have tasted defeat in the Test series, they made history by routing the hosts 5-1 to claim their maiden bilateral ODI series win on South African soil. India, who easily won the opening T20I in Johannesburg, were outplayed by South Africa in the second. With the series tied 1-1, it's all to play for in Cape Town. (Live Scorecard)

While India have never played any T20Is at Newlands, they will take heart from the fact that South Africa have a not so impressive record there. The Proteas have played eight T20Is and lost five at Newlands with two of those wins coming in the World Twenty20 2007, meaning that they have won just one bilateral game in Cape Town (against England in 2016).

Decider! Yes, the word that draws excitement with two top-quality sides have a go at each other to claim the upper hand is here. Finally. After the Test series, which was sealed before we entered the last game and a pretty one-sided one dayers, we are left with the third and final T20I on this India's tour of South Africa. The Newlands in Cape Town will play host to the game that decides who lays their hands on the coveted trophy. After India continued the one-way traffic in the first game in Johannesburg, South Africa stung back brilliantly to chase down a stiff target in Centurion. This means that the hosts very well have the momentum with them and would look to make this count. After the second Test match, the 'M' word was lost for the home side. The defeat in the opening game made Jean-Paul Duminy, the Protea skipper, talk about seniors (read, him) stepping up with the bat and he pretty much walked the talk at the SuperSport Park. That he was well aided by the young Heinrich Klaasen would please him and his side to no ends. This bodes well for them going forward. Also, the performance of another youngster in Junior Dala would come as a shot in the arm for them. Batting was never India's perennial problem and the middle order, read Manish Pandey and MS Dhoni, stepped up in Virat Kohli's failure. Both their fifties didn't aid the result as Yuzvendra Chahal and company couldn't contain the onslaught. The tourists would hope that it is just one bad day at the office for them. Considering the hosts' choking abilities, the visitors won't be overly worried. But as often shown by the on-field action, history and assumptions are often as good as 'ueue' in 'queue'! Having a glance at the weather reports tells us that it is expected to be cloudy, with not much rain expected. But mood and weather are two things that can be seldom relied on. Hope is the word that works in this case. Will the Proteas turn up and take the T20I series 2-1 or will the Indians take both the white-ball series on this tour?
