Woman dies, met with accident on Feb 17

A 54-year-old woman who met with an accident on February 17 at Piriya Mohalla under Awadhpuri police station area died while undergoing treatment on Thursday.

The deceased was identified as Parvati Bai of Piriya village was found in an injured stated and was rushed to a nearby hospital where she died on Thursday.

The details of the accident would be investigated as the vehicle and details of the accident are not found. The police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and have started further investigation.

Meanwhile, a 16-year-old girl committed suicide by hanging with the ceiling at government Sarojini Naidu Girls hostel under Berasia police station area on Friday.

Police said that the deceased Swati Mehar was found hanging in her room and was rushed to Hamidia hospital where she was declared dead.

In the morning hours when her friend spotted her hanging staff and warden were informed and police were informed. On the receipt of the information a team rushed to the spot and started investigation.

Panic created in the hostel after class X student Swati was found hanging. She used her stoll to make noose and committed suicide. 

The family members of the deceased in Barodi would be questioned which could help in revealing the reason behind the suicide.

After the preliminary investigation the body was sent for the post mortem and a case under section 174 of the CrPC was registered. Police have not found any suicide note. Other students in the hostel would be questioned which could help.
