Hyderabad HC grants permission to Telangana Vidhyarthi Sangam to hold its meet

HYDERABAD: The Hyderabad High Court on Friday granted permission to the “Telangana Vidhyarthi Sangam” (TVS) to hold its meeting at a function hall in Peddapalli district. The court made it clear that the organisers should take steps that no untoward incident takes place creating law and order problem.

Justice A V Sesha Sai was passing this order in a petition by Kota Srinivas, president of Telangana Vidhyarthi Sangam, complaining that the police have failed to accord permission to conduct the meeting at Decent function hall in Peddapally on Feb 26. The government counsel told the court that there was no objection for the police to grant permission if the meeting was conducted indoors.Taking this submission into consideration, the judge directed the police to accord permission to the said meeting.
